Big Announcements and Wedding Pictures

In today’s post I have a few odds and ends I would like to share with you all. Sorry, no finance tips or extreme hygiene experiments. I’m pretty excited about each of them for different reasons, but the four of them have been and will be a big part of my life, so I wanted to keep you all in the loop!

1. Assistant Editor for Think Traffic

A few weeks back I accepted a position with Corbett Barr of Think Traffic. I’m super excited to be working with him and helping him take his company (Insanely Useful Media) to the next level. We are breaking ground on some pretty awesome content for his audience in the next few months too. If you’re interested, I have a post up there today called ‘How to Make Your Next Conference an Insanely Useful Experience‘.

2. Wedding Pictures!

Jen and I’s wedding photographer near Portland, OR, Bryan Rupp, put up a blog post yesterday with a great sample of our wedding photos from my wedding last month. My wife and I are super happy with how they turned out. Bryan did a great job. We can’t wait to see the rest!

3. Financial Blogger’s Conference

From September 30th to October 2nd I’ll be attending the inaugural conference in Chicago for personal finance writers and bloggers. I look forward to meeting up with people I have only connected with virtual so far and being surrounded by like-minded people. I have some major plans in the works for Pocket Changed and I hope to come out of this conference with a great network of people to bring you the best content I can.

There are a bunch of other big things going on in my life in the next month or two as well, but those will have to wait a bit to be announced.
