The Get Paid Manifesto

by Caleb Wojcik · 23 comments

As I’ve hinted at, today I present you with a copy of my first manifesto: The Get Paid Manifesto. But first, let me tell you why I’ve created it.

There is a huge misconception that has continually grown since the release of 4-Hour Workweek about how easy it is to start a website, grow a following, sell affiliate products, earn passive income, and start living a location independent lifestyle. This has caused a huge knowledge gap. People don’t know that the best way to actually start helping people and earn money online (or offline for that matter) is to get clients.

This manifesto fills that gap.

And don’t worry, I intentionally kept this eBook short enough to read in one sitting.

What You’ll Learn

This first manifesto is all about taking action to get you more customers and clients. In this guide you’ll learn:

  • How to guarantee that you’ll get multiple referrals from each and every customer.
  • How to ask for a 100% raise from your current clients and get them to say yes.
  • Why saying yes to every potential client is the worst thing you can do to stand out.
  • How to charge up to 20x more than you do now by offering an experience.
  • Why word of mouth is the only kind of marketing you need.
  • Why you must stop competing on price before it runs you out of business.

Who It’s For

Solopreneurs, aspiring cubicle renegades, small business owners, bloggers, and anyone looking to make a living doing what they are passionate about.

This guide is also perfect for you if you are a freelancer looking to get more clients or are just trying to earn some extra cash through a side hustle.

Caleb - I’m subscribed to get your manifesto and I’m looking forward to reading it. I’ll be up front, though - I’m be putting it off for a week or so. I like to take work like this and read it with the intention of taking action on whatever the author throws my way, since experience and experiment are the best way I know to really learn something.

I’ll post again once I’ve done that.

Best of luck with it!

-Ben

Totally agree. Sometimes you just have to remind your former clients and you can get a few more future ones.

I don’t actually have clients — will this be useful for me? My business is the usual IM hodgepodge with some physical product sales thrown it as well.

Hi Charleen,

Yes, it is still useful for people that don’t have clients per say, but are looking to build their customer or audience base as well.

Very well written. This is the kind of manifesto that you can go back and read a few times over, getting more from it each time.

Thanks!

Great one from you Caleb.

There is big mis-conception about getting things done than most people know.

Thanks for the Manifesto Caleb. Good stuff!

I’m glad I found your blog, I could learn a lot from you. It’s funny how you actually seem to stumble upon these types of things (blogs, e-books) at the right time!

Glad I found you buddy! I’ll return often.

Your friend in the blogoshpere,
Zac!
